A Magical Monthly Newsletter from the Real Animals of FeatherHaven
First mailings begin July 2026 · Screen-free · Real wildlife, real stories
FeatherHaven Post Club is a mailed children's newsletter filled with real backyard wildlife stories, nature facts, activities, kindness, and collectible surprises — for kids ages 4–10.
ABOUT THE CLUB
Where the Backyard Becomes a Story
FeatherHaven Post Club is a monthly mailed newsletter for children, inspired by the real animals observed in a living backyard garden and pond ecosystem in the Tampa Bay area. Every issue features a creature who actually visits — with a name, a personality, and a story worth telling.
This is not a fictional world. These are real animals: a one-legged American Crow named Frank, an Eastern Cottontail Rabbit named Peter, a Great Egret called Edelweiss, and more. Each month, one of them becomes the star of your child's newsletter.
Note: Though the animals are real, the stories are a mixture of truth and fiction to inspire imagination and help your child connect.
FeatherHaven Post Club helps children connect with nature, practice kindness, and experience the simple, irreplaceable joy of receiving real mail.

A coloring page, simple puzzle, game, or hands-
on activity that brings
the story to life away from any screen.

kindness prompt — an act
of kindness toward nature, animals, or the people around them.
